Within 30 seconds of the start the pack are completely lost
Great scenery higher up
A fine example of the HHHH checking it out |
The GM, in the course of suffering a bad attack of the Kathmandu winter pox, arrived back at the OnSite 20 minutes late, so exhausted by the setting and trying to remember the number of checks he had laid that he was unable to accompany the runners, or walkers for that matter. Thanks to Rabbi for leading the walkers. The pack enjoyed a good trail, although a section of at least 20 minutes duration, running south along the forest ridge, was missed out when no-one was able to find paper out of Check 4 (of the 17 laid) even though it was pretty obvious and well within 100m of the check. The circle evolved in its usual way towards ridiculing the GM, especially from Hole-in-One who complained vigourously about the number of checks, which caused him to spend most of his time looking for paper. The GM pointed out in reply that if he wanted an ordinary run with brain on 'off' then he should go odinary running. But at least Hole-in-One was satisfied with the second half of the trail which was long and fairly straight. Can anybody else add to this? GM |
